My passion for education also comes from home. My mother was a foster parent for over a decade, and growing up, I witnessed firsthand the educational gaps and hardships children faced as they transitioned through the foster care system. I saw how instability, inconsistent supports, and frequent disruptions to schooling affected not only academic progress, but confidence and well-being. Those early experiences shaped my deep belief in consistent, family-centered educational support.

But my greatest classroom isn’t in a school building—it’s in my home. I’m a faith-based wife and mother of four, and like many parents, I reached a crossroads. Despite years of experience in education, I faced very real challenges when I made the decision to transition my high schooler from public school to homeschooling.

What I discovered is that even with an educational background, homeschooling presents unique obstacles—from finding the right curriculum to balancing structure, faith, and family life. Those challenges became the spark that ignited my mission and laid the foundation for Forge Forward Homeschooling Solutions.

Forge Forward was built to empower families to lead with confidence, restore joy in learning, and help parents see themselves as capable educators. It’s more than a business—it’s a calling. Every workshop, resource, and partnership reflects my belief that when families are equipped, students thrive and communities grow stronger.
